The author, Kathleen Beckman, is a Catholic wife, mother, Coordinator of Orange Diocese Magnificat and Orange Diocese Intercessors of the Lamb. During a ten year period of longsuffering in her family, while praying before the Blessed Sacrament after daily Mass, she wrote reflections on uniting suffering to Christ's Passion to form intercessory prayers for the family and Church with an emphasis on marriage, children, and priests.
